Return & Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with every purchase. This policy explains how to request returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations. It applies to orders placed on HomeNeeds.

What can be returned or exchanged
- Most non-perishable, non-customized items that are returned in their original condition within the return window (see point #3) are eligible for return or exchange.

Defective or Wrong Items
If you received a defective, damaged or incorrect item, contact us immediately. We will arrange collection/return and issue either a replacement or full refund depending on your choice and stock availability.

Return windows (how long you have to return)
- Standard return window: 14 days from delivery for most items.
- For certain categories of products, the return window duration may vary. If this is the case, it would be stated in the product description page.
- How to request a return
- Go to Your Orders on the Site and select the order/item → Request Return (or contact support at support@homeneeds-eg.com / +20 XXXXXXXXX).
- Choose your preferred resolution: exchange, replacement, or refund.
- We’ll review and — if approved — arrange a pickup or provide instructions for drop-off and issue a return authorization. Refunds are issued after inspection (see point #6).
(For marketplace sellers: if your product was sold by a third-party vendor on our platform, returns may be handled by that vendor per their seller terms. However, most sellers have to comply with the HomeNeeds returns policy.

Cancellation policy
- Before shipping: Orders may be cancelled free of charge as long as they haven’t been shipped. Use Your Orders → Cancel, or contact support immediately.
- After shipping: Once the order is shipped, cancellation is not possible; you must follow the return process after delivery. Some items eligible for return may incur return shipping charges (see point #7).

Refund method and timeline
We generally refund the original payment method. If that is not possible, we may issue store credit. Refund processing after we receive and inspect the returned item typically takes 7–30 business days depending on the payment method and bank processing times.
- Return shipping costs
- If the return is due to a defect, wrong item, or our error — return shipping is covered by us.
- If you return for buyer’s remorse (change of mind), return shipping may be deducted from the refund unless we offer free returns for the product.
- Exchanges
Exchanges are processed like returns — request an exchange and we will either ship the replacement once we receive the return, or in some cases ship an exchange first and request the original be returned.

Partial refunds & restocking
We may issue partial refunds for items with obvious signs of use, missing parts, or if items are returned beyond the acceptable condition for reselling.

Disputes & escalation
If you disagree with the return decision, contact our Customer Support at support@homeneeds-eg.com. If unresolved, we will follow our internal dispute resolution process and, where applicable, local consumer protection guidance.
